Acting Workshop
20 students, 50 minute session

 

9-13 year-old participants will be introduced to The Arts Effects’ critically acclaimed, Strasberg-based technique. Aspiring young artists will explore sense memory, scene and character development, and improvisation all while discussing the social and cultural importance of the performing arts.

Writing Workshop
20 students, 50 minute session

 

9-13 year-old participants will share their voices while creating original scenes, monologues, and poems based on their life and experiences.

 

Blogging Workshop
15 students. 50 minute session

 

9-13 year-old participants will explore the power of blogging. Students will learn to set-up and design their own blogs.
